BioAct® |
The European Union has decided in Directive 2003/79/EEC dated 13/08/2003, to include the active
ingredient of Contans®WG, Coniothyrium minitans to Annex I of Council Directive
91/414/EEC on 01/01/2004.
This decision enables an application for full registration of Contans®WG
in all member states of the European Union.
All existing provisional registrations can now be transformed into full registrations.

dated 04/04/2003, to include the active
ingredient of BioAct®WG, Paecilomyces lilacinus to
Annex I of Council Directive
91/414/EEC.
This decision enables an application for full registration of BioAct®
in all member states of the European Union.
All existing provisional registrations can now be transformed into full registrations.

German Patent (DE 19502065 A1, December 7, 1995) and United States Patent (5,766583, June 16,
1998) have been awarded for use of the strain of Coniothyrium minitans, CON/M/91-08,
as a biological control agent against Sclerotinia sclerotiorum. PCT application (DE95/00926) was filed covering Europe and Canada.
