from Hamburg   from Berlin
  • Get on the motorway A 1 and travel in direction Lübeck until the motorway junction "Autobahn Dreieck Bad Schwartau", continue on the A 226 in direction Rostock/ Schwerin.


  • Leave A 226 and get on Federal Road 104 in direction Schwerin, which is indicated. The name of the exit (Ausfahrt) is L.- Siems).


  • (Do not follow the Federal Road 105 to Wismar in the village "Selmsdorf"!) Stay on the Federal Road 104 for about 20 km until you get to the motorway A 20 to Wismar.


  • Leave the motorway at the intersection "Autobahnkreuz Wismar" and follow the signs to the island Poel "Insel Poel".


  • Turn right in Fährdorf, which is the first village on the island, in direction Gollwitz / Malchow (only 3 km).


  • In Malchow you will see a large building on the right hand. Pass the building and enter the parking lot on the left, where you can leave your car.
    Walk to the large building and enter on the left side (green coloured part of the building).
 
  • Get on to the motorway A 10 "Berliner Ring" and travel in direction Hamburg later turning on to the motorway A 24 to Hamburg.


  • Change on the A 19 in direction Rostock at the motorway junction "Autobahn-Dreieck Wittstock" .


  • Change on to the motorway A 20 to Wismar / Lübeck at the motorway intersection "Autobahnkreuz Rostock" .


  • Get off the motorway A 20 at the motorway intersection "Autobahnkreuz Wismar" and follow the signs to the island of Poel "Insel Poel".


  • Turn right in Fährdorf, which is the first village on the island, direction in Gollwitz / Malchow (only 3 km).
